Delivery Information:
‘Art of Ambience’ aim to dispatch all paid orders within 7-10 working days, unless otherwise stated. This gives us enough time to order goods in from the manufacturers and dispatch them to our customers. We will email you when your goods have been dispatched. Full details of our delivery charges are listed on a separate page titled ‘DELIVERY COSTS’. Any questions can be emailed to sales@artofambience.com or telephone us on +33 4 78 31 59 77 for more help.
Customer advice: ‘Art of Ambience’ recommend no trades-person or electrician be booked to undertake any works until your order is received, inspected and found to be suitable for the use intended. We will not be held responsible for any subsequent cancellations of such bookings, nor reimburse any costs involved. ‘Art of Ambience’ will not accept responsibility for failure of delivery by couriers used as we have no control over this.
V.A.T:
All prices shown include V.A.T. The VAT amount is shown separately at the checkout stage.
Returns Policy:
Faulty or damaged goods – Notification of any goods received faulty or damaged must be made in writing by email or telephone and received by us within 3 working days of receipt of goods. ‘Art of Ambience’ will arrange collection of these goods and subsequent dispatch of replacement items or a full refund if required once the returned goods have been inspected. ‘Art of Ambience’ will not be held liable or responsible for, nor will reimburse, any electricians charges or other costs incurred.
Incorrectly ordered goods – Items ordered in error or items that are unsuitable can only be returned providing they have not been installed or used and are still in the original intact and unmarked packaging, including the manufacturers cellophane wrapping in the case of lamp shades. A credit note or refund for the full value of the returned item will be issued once the return has been inspected and found to be in the original condition (please note this excludes all imported and made to order items – see below*).
Notification of your intention to return goods must be made in writing by email or telephone within 7 working days of receipt of goods and goods must be returned within a further 7 working days from said notification. Any returns must be agreed prior to return by ‘Art of Ambience’.
*All items that are imported to order, made to order and all 9 light or more chandeliers are special orders and are non-returnable.
All returns arrangements and costs must be made and met by the customer. ‘Art of Ambience’ will only refund the value of the goods returned by way of a refund or credit note to the same value as the returned item(s) after satisfactory inspection. The refund will be processed within 14 calendar days from receipt of the returned item(s).
‘Art of Ambience’ reserves the right to charge a re-stocking charge if the request to return the goods is outside the 7 working day period.
Incorrectly supplied goods – If ‘Art of Ambience’ supply incorrect goods in error, the company will arrange collection of the wrong goods and subsequently dispatch the correct goods at their own cost.
All the above does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Cancellations:
You have the right to cancel an order that you have placed, or a particular item on an order that has been placed, at anytime up to 7 working days after receipt of goods. Cancellation must be advised in writing by email or telephone (this excludes special orders – see above*).
Disclaimer – All dimensions, technical data, text and product images are for guidance only and ‘Art of Ambience’ cannot be held responsible for their accuracy. If in doubt we recommend contacting the manufacturer or a qualified electrician. Photographic representations are provided by the manufacturers and due to technical limitations colour variations may occur.
‘Art of Ambience’ will not be liable for or reimburse any additional costs incurred by our customers.
Privacy:
‘Art of Ambience’ do not disclose customer information to any third parties, other than our courier for delivery purposes. Information collected is provided by you and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
